I’m curious as to why women’s rights, their safety, their well being, seems to be on the bottom of any list of priorities… among progressives, everyone. Why are my rights less important. I’m really interested in this. Can someone explain this to me? Why are we ( myself included) not outraged that we have not passed the ERA? Why are we not outraged that in the Saudi Arabia they left a group of girls in a building that is burning rather than rescue them? Why is the discussion surrounding abused women, something no one wants any part of? Why would a woman vote Republican after her rights to medical treatment, safety and her dignity have all been but demolished by them? Why would someone partake in that sort of self-sabotage?
